What Our Visitors Say

  • Fernanda and Wayne were absolutely amazing hosts, making our stay really special. They were so welcoming and kind when we arrived and it was really easy to get in touch if we had any questions. The lodge was perfect, really high quality standard, beautiful view and 2 minutes walk from the harbour, restaurant and shops. The view from the balcony was just perfect, especially watching the sun go down. We will definitely be back!

  • We had a great stay at the Lodge. The View over the Loch was lovely and our hosts Fernanda and her husband, were very helpful and kind. The Appartment was cosy and very clean - everything you need in it and even more. Thank you again.

  • Brilliant!!!!! Fernanda and Wayne are excellent hosts, welcoming and friendly, and they made our stay really, truly special!!! We followed their recommendations and walked up to Conic Hill, took the boat to Inchcailloch and the waterbus to Luss. Fantastic views and outstanding beauty all around us! We also went to Stirling and visited the Stirling Castle. So, plenty of things to do and a beautiful place to relax. The lodge was perfect and spotless. Yes, you don't have TV signal, but we didn´t need it at all. A variety of films to relax on the sofa and the stunning views from the balcony. They are building more lodges around it, but Wayne and Fernanda made sure we were no disturbed by the works and they even stopped for a few days for us to enjoy the peace and quiet!

  • Friendly welcome from Fernanda and family. They gives us very good tips for enjoying Balmaha and the area. The rooms are big & clean with modern interior. Nice sight to the harbour. We loved to stay there!

  • Exceptionally friendly and welcoming hosts and very flexible. Great at communicating before and during, very helpful about the lodge and the surrounding areas, gave us great tips for where to go and what to do. Lovely lodge, exactly as described with a very comfy bed! There are other lodges being built around, although thankfully we avoided any building work. Great view. Quiet location with easy access to local amenities. We also enjoyed the complimentary wine when we arrived, a lovely and personal touch!
